I feel so happy and so depressed >< Ah, it's so frustrating. The Avatar series finally ended, and all I can say is...wow.
I know I didn't really express my love for Avatar on DA, but I was *still am* a diehard fan. Zutara was my ship and always will be

Zuko/Azula fight:
Oh my god. Azula just went crazy, and her demented self was totally awesome. I think this one battle made up for all the times I cursed her soul for being a total loser xD. The whole contrast though was awesome with Zuko's red fire and Azula's blue fire. I was just sitting there, mouth wide open and bug-eyed And there was a Zutara moment, there was!!!
And I never realized how totally awesome Azula looked with her hair down.

Aang/Ozai fight:
Aang was so freakin' badass!!!! His eyes were aglow and he used all the elements to take down Ozai!!!!! SQUEEEEE Holy crap, Aang was never as cool as he was last night. And Ozai ran *flew* screaming like a little girl!!! It was amazing. I was a little annoyed with Aang whining about taking Ozai's life, but at least he found an alternate way. And Sokka was his good ol' self mocking Ozai afterwards :roflol: -dies-

Zuko/Iroh reunite:
It was such a cheesy cute moment, uncle and nephew together again; the REAL wonderteam. I missed Iroh and his words of wisdom... And his tea.

Zuko/Mai together:
I was disappointed. Really, I was. It was obvious that Zuko and Katara weren't going to get together, but as every obsessed fangirl does I still hoped and was let down. V.V Well, it could have been worse. He could've ended up with Tai Lee *by some disgustingly weird twist of fate* and really, Mai is a cool character. The Zutara fan in me would rather curl up and die though. ><

Aang/Katara together:
At the ending scene, I nearly believed they weren't going to kiss. At first it showed them standing side by side, just talking for a sec, and then it showed them embrace. At first I freaked out because it looked like they were going to kiss, but they didn't and they zoomed back out. I thought I was homefree, that they were going to end it like that; with them hugging, and my sister, *a Kataang fan* was disapointed, but then the suddenly zoomed in on Katara's face and they lip-locked. I just put my head in my hands and covered my eyes while my sister was cheering her heart out. Dammit Mike and Bryan, dammit!!!

Parting words: Avatar was glorious, and even though I wish I could tweak it a little, it ended perfectly. Zuko became the new Fire Lord and Aang was the beloved Avatar. It was glorious, and I'm going to miss running to the television Friday nights to watch it. Avatar was the one show I would truly fangirled about. Naruto, I could stand to miss a couple of episodes and Death Note I had already read the manga. But Avatar, that show will always be a favorite.
