IT’S NORMAN REEDUS’ BIRTHDAY TODAY!!!! and since we don’t have a d.o.b. for Daryl I’m just gonna go ahead and say it’s the same day lol

I think a January birthday suits Daryl. He’s silent and watchful. Merle was born in the summer, all fire-y temper and passion.

In passing Daryl told Carol he was born in January, maybe while Rick and Lori were celebrating Carl’s birthday. And during the winter Carol knit him a green scarf to give to him. They haven’t really been able to keep track of the dates and the day she gives him the scarf may not even be his birthday, but Daryl appreciated the gesture anyway

“You knit this?” he said, eyes widening in surprise at the little scrap of scarf she held out to him.

“Not very well,” she laughed. She gave him a sheepish grin. “but it’ll keep you warm.”
